V5-xPDM Gateway is an enterprise integration solution, to provide process-based exchange of design and engineering data between CATIA V5/ENOVIA V5 VPM and an enterprise PDM system (xPDM). With this solution, it is possible for the ENOVIA V5 VPM relational product development environment (which manages critical in-work data) to harmoniously co-exist with an enterprise PDM system that manages released data. V5-xPDM Gateway is an efficient way to integrate product development environment of CATIA V5 and ENOVIA V5 VPM with the enterprise PDM System.

This solution allows ENOVIA VPM users to tightly connect with the Teamcenter Enterprise environment. At the same time, Teamcenter users have access to ENOVIA VPM work-in-progress environment, which ensures better impact assessment earlier in the product lifecycle, and increased visibility on timelines and projects. It also allows Teamcenter users to leverage advance capabilities of CATIA V5 such as relational design and design-in-context.
The integration supports exchange of rich data, including metadata, product structure, position matrices, CAD neutral data, engineering change objects, part versions and revisions, configurations, variants and options, and additional data like PMI and weld information.
V5-xPDM Gateway solution is officially approved by Dassault Systèmes and Siemens PLM Software. |
