Jamshyd N. Godrej

Mr. Jamshyd N. Godrej is the Chairman of the Board of Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, USA.
Mr. Godrej is the Chairman of Aspen Institute, India. He is the Vice President of World Wide Fund for Nature International and is a Trustee and President Emeritus of World Wide Fund for Nature India. He is also a Director of World Resources Institute, USA; and is also Past President of Confederation of Indian Industry and Past President of the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association.
Mr. Godrej is the Chairman of the CII Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre. The Centre is housed in a LEED Platinum demonstration building which is the first green building in India and the greenest building in the world at the time when it was rated. The Green Business Centre is a Centre of Excellence for green buildings, energy, energy conservation, non-conventional energy sources, water policy, water conservation, etc.
Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. manufactures and markets refrigerators; washing machines; air conditioners; office furniture; home furniture; security equipment for banks (such as safes, strong room doors, bank lockers, etc.) and for commercial establishments and homes; locks and latches, forklift trucks and warehousing equipment; process equipment for chemical, petrochemical, refineries and allied industries; precision tools for sheet metal, zinc, aluminum and thermoplastics; real estate development. The Godrej group is recognized as leaders in home appliances, consumer durables, office equipment, industrial products, consumer products and services.
Mr. Godrej is an ardent yachting enthusiast and has done extensive cruising along the west coast of India.
The President of India conferred on Mr. Godrej the Padma Bhushan on 3rd April 2003.

Manu M. Parpia

Mr. Manu Parpia is the Founder and Vice Chairman of Geometric Ltd., and Chairman of 3DPLM Software Solutions Ltd. He has over 30 years of experience in the industry, with over 21 years in the PLM and Engineering arena. He is one of the pioneers in this arena in India.
He served as the Chief Executive of the Electronic Business Equipment Division of Godrej & Boyce from the mid eighties to 1999. During this period, he also founded Godrej Pacific, a joint venture between Tech Pacific and Godrej & Boyce, and served as its Managing Director from 1995 to 1999. In his activities with Godrej, he oversaw the design, development, manufacture and distribution of a variety of high-tech products. He served as the Managing Director of Geometric from 1994 to 2006.
Mr. Parpia started his career as an engineer with Humphreys & Glasgow Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (H&G). Inspired and mentored by Naval Godrej and Vasant Seth, he later founded K. Wadia Exports Pvt. Ltd., a company manufacturing cast gold jewellery for export, and First Financial Compuserve Pvt. Ltd. which promoted the use of computers in the area of finance. He was the President of Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology (MAIT) in 1997-98.
Mr. Parpia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, Canada; an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, USA; and a Diploma in Finance & Accounting from England. His areas of specialization include international marketing and business development, business strategy and commercialization of technology.

Ravishankar G.

Mr. Ravishankar G. is the Managing Director and CEO at Geometric. He joined Geometric in February 2007 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and has since played a key role in shaping the Company's strategic direction. Mr. Ravishankar assumed the responsibilities of the MD & CEO in February 2009.
He has over 20 years of experience in the areas of finance, accounting and risk management in manufacturing and financial services businesses. Prior to joining Geometric, Mr. Ravishankar was the CFO of GE Healthcare - South Asia. During his tenure with GE Healthcare, he played a key role in turning the healthcare business around and growing it successfully in the South Asia region. Between 1994 and 2002, Mr. Ravishankar held various positions in the areas of risk management and corporate financing with GE, India
He started his career with Rane (Madras) Ltd., an automobile ancillary company, where he held various positions in the areas of costing, management accounting and financial accounting. Mr. Ravishankar is a Chartered and Cost Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He is a graduate of the prestigious 'Experience Finance Leadership Program' by GE and has done an executive education program on 'Corporate Financial Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value' from Kellogg School of Management.

Dr. K. A. Palia
Dr. K. A. Palia is the Executive Director Finance of Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. and has been associated with the House of Godrej since 1970.
He holds a Master's Degree in Commerce and a Diploma in Managerial Accounting from the Mumbai University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Oklahoma State University, USA. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, as well as the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. He has considerable expertise in financial management, business strategy and corporate governance. Milind S. Sarwate

Mr. Milind S. Sarwate is the Chief of Finance, Human Resources and Strategy at Marico Limited (a leading Indian Consumer Products & Services Group, in the beauty and wellness space, with 2008-09 turnover of about Rs. 2388 crore [USD 478 Million] and a Shareholder Value (market capitalization) of about Rs. 6000 crore [USD 1.25 billion]). His current role encompasses finance, human resources, M&A, investor relations, corporate communication and strategic business planning for the Marico Group.
Mr. Sarwate has 27 years of corporate experience, primarily in the consumer products industry, in finance, corporate development, product supply and now human resources and strategy with three corporate groups, Hoechst (Aventis), Godrej and Marico.
During 1998-2007, Mr. Sarwate was Marico's Chief Financial Officer, heading the finance function that comprised core finance, information technology, legal, company secretarial, taxation, internal audit and corporate affairs functions. He led Marico's efforts in shareholder value creation, acquisitions and alliances, corporate structuring, and financial & corporate communication. He also played a leading role in various cross-functional initiatives in the areas of information technology, SAP's ERP and SCM; and in performance management, Simplified Economic Value Added (SEVA), and Total Cost Management (TCM).
Mr. Sarwate completed his professional education (Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy and Company Secretaryship) during 1983-84, with high All India Ranks in CA and CWA, following a B. Com. (Honors) from the University of Bombay in 1979. During 1996, he was one of the two Indian managers selected for the CII-Fulbright Fellowship for Leadership in Management at the Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
Mr. Sarwate's interests include cricket, movies, politics, and Indian music. He also enjoys reading across a wide range of subjects, in both English and Marathi, especially literature that helps towards self actualization, while keenly tracking 'News'. During his leisure, Mr. Sarwate likes to just “be” with his family- wife, two daughters and parents.

Dr. Richard Riff

Dr. Richard Riff is the Director of Ford´s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiative and technical fellow for Virtual Product Creation and PLM, one of five technical fellows at Ford.
Dr. Riff joined Ford Motor Company in 1989 as a CAE technical specialist for Automotive Parts Operations Electronics Division. An internationally recognized authority in the field of computer-aided design, manufacturing, engineering (CAD-CAM-CAE) and PLM, Dr. Riff lead the team responsible for developing Ford's global PLM strategy. Formerly the Director of the C3P Project Office, Dr. Riff led the development and implementation of Ford´s C3P—CAD/CAM/CAE and PLM strategy, a global, cross-functional enabler involving major changes in Ford's processes, methods, tools, architecture and infrastructure. He received the company's most prestigious technical award, becoming a Ford fellow for his work on Ford's C3P strategy in 1998.
Before joining Ford, Dr. Riff was a Professor of Aerospace Structures at Georgia Technological University in Atlanta, Georgia, and at Technion Institute of Technology in Israel, where he received his Bachelor´s, Master´s, Doctorate and Doctorate of Science in Aeronautic and Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Riff has authored more than seventy technical publications and several books in his areas of specialization, including CAE, CAD, CAM, structural and dynamic FEA, pre and post-processors, descriptive geometry and material constitutive laws.

Anita Ramachandran

Ms. Anita Ramachandran is the founder of Cerebrus Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (Cerebrus), one of the leading HR consulting companies in the country. Before setting up Cerebrus, Ms. Ramachandran spent 19 years with A. F. Ferguson Management Consultancy division.
Ms. Ramachandran has over 30 years of consulting experience in corporate strategy and human resource consulting. She has worked with a wide range of Indian and multinational clients on a variety of HR assignments covering organization review, compensation and performance management and HR strategy. She has worked for several major MNC and Indian companies.

Ajay Mehra

Mr. Ajay Mehra is a Partner with BMR Advisors, and has over 16 years of experience in the area of tax and regulatory advisory services. He joined BMR in 2004, prior to which he was a Partner with Ernst & Young. Mr. Mehra started his career with Arthur Andersen in 1992, and continued working with them as the practice merged with Ernst & Young. During his tenure with Ernst & Young, and the erstwhile Arthur Andersen taxation practice, he led the Indirect Tax practice in Mumbai, and was also responsible for the Pune tax practice of Arthur Andersen and eventually of Ernst & Young as well.
Mr. Mehra has extensive experience advising domestic as well as multinational companies in the areas of tax and regulatory issues, with a focus on Indirect taxes. He has led multi-disciplinary teams in Government projects, including that on privatization of mining in a large Indian state, and another to improve the policy and regulatory environment for IT companies in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr Mehra is on the Executive Council of the European Business Group (Mumbai Chapter).
