Competency Development

True learning can only happen when teachers become facilitators and give ample scope for novices to experiment. In our pursuit to facilitate world-class technical training to our people, we have instituted PLM Institute (PLMI) to address various knowledge enhancement needs. This helps them to confidently take up projects having a high degree of technical content. The institutionalized training is augmented with open discussions amongst the enthusiastic juniors and knowledgeable seniors, known for their intellectual generosity. This is possible as each project has a presence on Geometric's intranet, which is supplemented by monthly presentations, where ideas are exchanged, applauded and improvised. We also impart personality development training to help them understand and appreciate the customer better.

Geometric has partnerships with all the global vendors in the PLM arena and our customers include leading names in the global engineering and manufacturing domains. This provides a wide spectrum of opportunities in terms of various technologies, development platforms, and industry verticals. The work content varies from software development in Offshore Development Centers (ODCs) for customers, core product development to high-end engineering services at various offshore and near shore locations.
