| SAP recognizes Geometric for integrated Product Quality Management (iPQM) composite application |

In the recently concluded SAP Adaptive Manufacturing Summit 2007, Geometric emerged as a one of the three winners in the first ever Manufacturing Co-Innovation Challenge award organized by SAP, in San Francisco, from 19th-21st September. This composite solution is designed to manage the product quality by integrating business and operational processes across manufacturing, quality assurance, ERP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
This is the first year of the Manufacturing Co-Innovation Challenge award instituted by SAP, towards recognizing its customer's and partner's for development of composite applications, which are flexibly deployable software that solves manufacturing / business challenges across diverse industries.
Geometric won this accolade for its solution from over 30 entries. The innovative composite application is called iPQM. It enables real-time business process integration of core functionality from the SAP ERP application and SAP® Product Lifecycle Management (SAP PLM). This summit attracted over a 1000 representatives from big Manufacturing IT companies seeking solutions for their IT needs. |
