Each section was then manually measured using the standard measurement tools in Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems, making this process manual, time consuming and error prone. The use of GeomCaliper brings accuracy and speed into the designing process. It can compute the thickness of the entire model automatically and its innovative visualization feature can uncover critical thickness areas in complex models that are hidden deep inside the design. It not only locates the problem in the design related to wall thickness, but also shows the cause.
